Around 10 thousand Pakistanis have been working for the Bahraini security services since the beginning of the Arab spring, The Pakistani Tribune reported Thursday.

The newspaper mentioned that the Bahraini authorities have recruited the retired Pakistani soldiers and policemen to suppress the protests.

According to Manama Voice website, the Bahraini king praised the Pakistani “efforts to help the Bahrainis in  construction, development and terrorism combat.”

The website added that the Pakistani interior minister expressed his country’s readiness to provide Bahrain with its experiences according to what the mutual agreements state.
