The Kingdom of Bahrain is the latest region that got the 2014 Lexus IS sport sedan range, after its single Toyota and Lexus distributor made the agreements this weekend.

Local distributor Ebrahim K. Kanoo released the mad looking new IS model on the Bahrain market Saturday, the 29th of June at Lexus Showroom in Sitra, event that was assisted by Kanoo’s top management, Lexus top Executives, Bahrain Lexus owners and local media.

“We specifically made driving pleasure the major premise behind all aspects of performance.”, IS chief engineer Junichi Furuyama said during the launch event. The engineers really did their thing to ensure “fun to drive”, as the New IS handles better under all conditions, accelerating, cornering, and in the fast lane. The top model (without the F Sport package) IS 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 direct injection engine producing 312 hp and coupled to an 8-speed Sport Direct Shift (SPDS) automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
