3 Bangladeshis injured in Bahrain fire

Three Bangladeshi workers were injured in a fire in Bahrain’s capital Manama yesterday.
Aziz Shikder, Laku Bepari, and Shahin have been kept at the intensive care unit of Salmania Hospital in the city, said Md Mohidul Islam Muhit, first secretary (labour) of Bangladesh embassy in Bahrain. Laku and Shahin are in critical condition.
Aziz, Laku, and Shahin are construction workers in Manama, and share the same apartment.
The fire originated from a gas cylinder in their kitchen yesterday afternoon while they were asleep.
Thirteen Bangladeshi workers died in Bahrain this January and 10 others died last May.
