A glittering showcase!

MANAMA: An exquisite $3.5 million bridal set studded with rare Burma rubies and diamonds, gold-plated walking sticks with crystal knobs, Swarovski-studded umbrellas and handmade earrings covered in precious gems are just some of the glittering attractions at the region’s biggest jewellery expo.

These unique pieces sparkled as Jewellery Arabia 2012 continued yesterday at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sanabis.

The five-day show features exquisite diamond necklaces, earrings and bracelets with some priced at more than $4m.

The show will be open from 4pm to 10pm today and tomorrow and on Saturday from 10am until 1pm and from 4pm until 10pm.

The expo spans over 16,500sqm of floor space, with more than 500 exhibitors from 30 countries showcasing a host of collections, ranging from exquisite jewellery to luxury timepieces and precious stones of every size, shape and cu
