ADPI confirms award of Bahrain Airport expansion contract – CAPA

France‘s Aéroports de Paris Ingénierie (ADPI) confirmed (03-Feb-2014) it was awarded the contract to design and supervise the expansion of Bahrain International Airport. ADPI will conduct all studies on the airport’s development over the next 20 years and design and supervise construction of a new passenger terminal of more than 150,000sqm. Construction of the terminal is expected to commence in late 2014 and be complete in late 2018. The contract is expected to generate EUR25 million in revenue for ADPI over a five-year period.
