Al Hidd now have four points from two games.

Akarandut has now scored three goals in two cup games for Al Hidd.

The former top scorer in the Nigeria league revealed he would have loved his team to have won Sunday’s cup tie.

“I thank God for His mercies. It was a great goal, from a counter attack. After they took a corner kick, I picked the loose ball from our half, dribbled past two defenders to score. It’s great to have scored three goals in two games,” Akarandut enthused.

Two teams will qualify for the semi-final from the group made up of nine teams, namely Al Hidd, Riffa, Al Ettihad, Galali, Busaiteen, Al Ahli, Al Shabab, Bahrain team and Muharraq.
