Al Basta Market success stories continue

Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA): The third week of Al-Basta Market, held on Friday and Saturday at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, concluded today.
This year’s edition provided an opportunity for 10 commercial projects to enter the local market for the first time. With most them still without a social media account, the market was a challenge for them, but their outstanding success since the first hours represents success stories for Al-Basta Market.

75 vendors, including 18 productive families, representing small and micro enterprises, as well as farmers from across the kingdom, participated.

The Southern Governorate called on citizens, residents and visitors to continue visiting the market to enjoy family shopping.

Al Basta Market, the biggest annual shopping festival in Bahrain, is held at Bahrain International Circuit every Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 9pm until February 13, 2016.

It is supported by the Tamkeen, the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), Southern municipality, Bahrain National Gas Company (BANAGAS), Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), the Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC), Sofitel Hotel, Zajil Press and Al-Watan newspaper.
