Manama, July 20 (BNA) — Parliament Speaker, Khalifa Ahmed Al-Dhahrani today stressed the national duty necessitates the legislative authority to reconsider a number of valid laws to support the security agencies in confronting the recent escalation of terrorist acts.

Al-Dhahrani told Bahrain News Agency (BNA), after the Interior Minister, Lt. General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa met with the members of the House of Representatives on the terrorist act of car bombing recently took place at Shaikh Isa bin Salman Mosque in west Riffa, the Interior Minister told the MPs that that incident would not pass without bringing perpetrators and instigators to justice.

He affirmed the people of Bahrain and many other world countries denounced that terrorist act, explaining maintaining security throughout the kingdom is the responsibility of the security agencies, and national duty makes it imperative for all loyal Bahrainis to assist in protecting the Kingdom’s security and stability, he thanked the Minister of Interior for attending the meeting and briefomg MPs on the latest security developments
