Manama, June 2. (BNA) — Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani has highlighted the importance of legislative, investment and economic cooperation with friendly Japan, praising the steady growth of Bahraini Relations.
This came as he received here today a delegation from the Bahrain-Japan Business Friendship Society (BJBFS), in the presence of Shura Council member Nancy Khadhouri, BJBFS’ Deputy Chairman Mr. Nasser Al Arayedh, Mr. Yusuke Sekiguchi, Toshihiko Saito and Mr. Nabeel AbdulRahman Ajoor.

During the meeting, Al Dhahrani affirmed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in all fields in order to achieve a comprehensive development of bilateral relations.

On his part, Nasser Al Arayedh lauded the steady growth of bilateral economic relations, noting that Japanese relations were boosted as a result of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s recent visit to Japan, as well as that of BJBFS delegation.

Other members of the delegation also hailed bilateral ties, noting that the facilities provided by the government for investors, and the good reputation enjoyed by the Bahraini people have encouraged Japanese companies to open offices in the Kingdom.
