Manama, June 10 (BNA) — First Deputy Chairman of the Representatives Council, Abdullah Khalaf Al-Dosari today received the Sudanese Ambassador to Bahrain Abdulla Ahmed Othman Mohammed Saleh, in the presence of MP Samir Khadim member of the Bahraini – Sudanese brotherhood Committee.
Al-Dosari praised the deep-rooted fraternal relations tie both countries, stressed exchanging visits to bolster bilateral cooperation relations in economic, commercial and investment areas for the benefit of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
On his part, the Sudanese Ambassador lauded the joint relations, asserted Bahrain’s investments in Sudan are most welcomed. He explained his country is characterized by livestock trade, where livestock in Sudan makes approximately 130 million heads, of which 70 million sheep and 6 million camels, adding this wealth is renewable due to the presence of vast areas in which they graze.
The Ambassador expressed deep satisfaction with the increasing of volume of Gulf investments in Sudan, in the meantime, he extended a special invitation to House of Representatives of Bahrain to visit Sudan in near future.
