Manama, June 12 (BNA) — Chairman of the the Promotion, Exhibitions and Conferences Committee at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and Head of the Bahraini side of the Joint Bahraini-Russian Business Council, Kadhim Isa Al-Saeed received the delegation of the Russian Sukhoi company, a specialized company in commercial aircraft industry.

The parties reviewed the Russian participation in Bahrain International Airshow (BIA), and the role of the Joint Business Council in pushing mutual Bahraini-Russian economic relations.

Al-Saeed welcomed the Russian air companies’ participation at the (BIA) and said that it’s a good opportunity for Russian air companies to strengthen its presence in one of the most famous international exhibitions in the field of aviation, and it is an appropriate opportunity for the development of commercial relations with their counterparts in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He pointed out the role of the Bahraini-Russian Business Council in supporting economic and investment relations between the two countries and the keenness of the Bahraini side to activating aspects of cooperation in this area. And praised the past successful Russian participation in the exhibition, praising in this regard the efforts of the organizing committee of the exhibition under the chairmanship of His Majesty’s Personal Representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
