Tunis, Jan. 8 (BNA): The Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) praised the Bahraini people’s historic stance in confronting the Iranian interference by underscoring loyalty to the nation and leadership and sending a message to the world that they stand one rank with the leadership in facing the Iranian flagrant interference in Bahrain’s affairs.

This came in a report by the union which was submitted after the inauguration of the union’s permanent office in Tunisia yesterday under the patronage of Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi.

The union urged the Bahraini people to assume their responsibilities in facing challenges and immunising themselves against the blatant interference and attempts to sow sedition.

The union also lauded Bahrain’s pioneering reform experience and the kingdom’s resolve to go ahead with the reform efforts in all fields for an all-inclusive and tolerant Bahraini community. It also commended the establishment of Bahrain Institution for Human Rights and issuing a law governing it. It added that Bahrain is on the right path and capable of facing all challenges by keeping the internal front strong, holding on to the national fundamentals and throwing the heavy weight behind the leadership.

The inauguration of the Arab Lawyers Union permanent office and its meetings were attended by a delegation from Bahrain Bar Society comprising President Huda Al Mahza and Vice President Abdulrahman Ghanim.
