Manama, Jan. 25 (BNA)– Many accredited ambassadors to Bahrain hailed “Thank You Bahrain” festival as a genuine translation of cordial ties binding Bahrain and the expatriate communities.
They said in statements to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the festival is a reflection of the foreign communities’ solidarity with Bahrain and an act of gratitude for the warm hospitality and kindness of the Bahraini people.

British Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay described the festival as successful by all means, stressing the British embassy’s support to it.

He also underscored the British community’s contribution to strengthening cooperation between both countries.

On his part, Indonesian Ambassador to Bahrain Chilman Arisman said 8000 Indonesian people in Bahrain consider the festival as a major event that reflects solidarity of the expatriate communities with Bahrain.

Meanwhile, Malaysian Ambassador to Bahrain Ahmed Shahzan Abdulsamad emphasised the importance of participation of all in such unique events.

He described Bahrain as the second home of the expatriate communities, stressing the need to support Bahrain in its fast-paced development march.

He also hailed the royal directives to resume the National Consensus Dialogue, asserting his full support to this intiative which reflects the leadership’s keenness to protect human rights and personal freedoms.
