Manama, May 14 (BNA) — Arab Social Development Affairs Ministers adopted the Kingdom of Bahrain’s initiative themed (Home projects), as an Arab initiative submitted to the Fourth Arab Economic and Social Development Summit. The Technical Secretariat has been tasked with rewriting the initiative in light of the remarks of the heads of delegations participated at the extraordinary session, then to submit it to Member States to express opinions in preparation for submitting it to the Executive Office of Arab Social Affairs Ministers in its upcoming meeting, before submitting it to the Ministerial Council in December 2014.
This came in the extraordinary session held at the conclusion of the 4th meeting of Arab Social Affairs Ministers’ Council, which was chaired by Social Development Minister, Fatima Mohammad Al-Bilushi, on May 12 in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Al-Bilushi said the Bahraini initiative aims to develop home, small and micro projects to lead for larger industries, adding the initiative based on engaging productive families in the production line.
