Askar receives 4th Asian Indoor Games delegation

Manama, July 13 (BNA) – Acting Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Abdul-Rahman Asker received the administrative delegation to the 4th Asian Indoor Games that held in South Korean city of Incheon from June 29 – July 7, 2013.


The delegation was headed by Noman bin Rashid Al-Hassan, delegation Director Saud Al-Ghuneim, assistant director Hamad Al-Baker, financial secretary Mahmud Ashoori and media man Hassan Ali.

Askar welcomed the delegation and conveyed greetings of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Bahrain Olympic Committee Chairman Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and all members of BOC Board of Directors, praising the role played by the delegation and their efforts in providing the ideal atmosphere for the players and the good impression carried that represents Bahraini youth, during the games.

The delegation briefed Askar on the Bahraini participation in the 4th Asian Indoor Games, that is a prelude to the 7th Asian Games, to be hosted by South Korea in September 2014.

The delegation submitted to Askar the detailed technical report on Bahraini participation in the 4th Asian Games and also presented the tournament’s official shirt signed by all Bahraini players, coaching staff and administrative team participated in the 2013 games, in addition to the event’s torch, and special commemorative shield presented by the mayor of the city of Incheon to the Olympic Committee in Bahrain.
