ASPnet-Bahrain conducts workshop

Manama, May 17 (BNA): UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet-Bahrain) has conducted a workshop to develop the skills and capabilities of its coordinators at the Bahrain Regional Centre for Information and Communication Technology (CICT).

The workshop was attended by more than 30 coordinators from the private and public schools, in order to enhance their professional competence and cognitive abilities in communication with all educational parties.

Secretary General of Bahrain National Committee for Education, Science and Culture and ASPnet-Bahrain Chairwoman Lubna Khalifa Salibikh gave a speech, in which she .appreciated the efforts exerted by the coordinators in implementing the committee’s plan and achieving the desired goals.

She affirmed that this workshop ensures professional workflow and full comprehension of basic principles adapted by UNESCO, addressing the theme of 2015/2016 “global citizenship.”

She stressed on the necessity of cooperative work among all the school’s department so as to achieve the objectives of joining ASPnet-Bahrain.
