Azerbaijan establishes military cooperation with Bahrain

Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has left on an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the press service of the Defense Minister of the Republic announced today.

During the visit the head of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan will hold meetings with the King of Bahrain, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Sheikh Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.

The Azerbaijani Minister will also visit the office of the Bahrain Air Force and Navy Force commands, and military medical facilities. A bilateral cooperation plan will be signed as well.
