BRITISH Ambassador Iain Lindsay last night hosted a reception to mark eight decades of British Airways flying to Bahrain.

The event, which was held at the embassy in Manama, was attended by several top airline officials, including Middle East and Central Asia commercial manager Paolo De Renzis.

Also present were senior officials of Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs, Bahrain Airport Company, members of the Kanoo family, business leaders and other VIPs.

British Airways Museum director Paul Jarvis conducted a fashion show with models displaying cabin crew uniforms over the years.
