Manama: April 1 – (BNA): Transport Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed also Acting CEO of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) affirmed the Ministry’s keenness represented by the Civil Aviation Affairs and in cooperation and coordination with the Bahrain Airport Company to providing all the various services and facilitations to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s guests who come from all over the world to attend the Bahrain Gulf Air F1 Grand Prix on April 4-6.
The Minister said that he had scrutinized all plans and mechanisms prepared ahead of F1 Grand Prix aimed to make things easier for the large number of visitors to the Kingdom and boost safety and security which reflects the civilized image of the Bahrain and citizens working in this field.
The Minister toured various departments in the Airport and praised the efforts of the Bahrain Airport Company and all other operating companies aimed to ensure the success of this major event, lauding their role in providing optimum conditions to the Kingdom’s visitors by facilitating all their transactions, saving time and effort of passengers.
The Bahrain Airport Company has made precautionary steps which enriched the quality of airport services.
The Minister was accompanied by the Acting Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs Ahmed Ne’ma Al-Ne’ma, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Aviation Safety and Security Hussain Ahmed Al-Sho’ail, Director of Air Navigation Ali Ahmed and Bahrain Airport Director Mohammed Thamir Al-Kaabi.
