Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): The second and final day of Bahrain Arabian Horseshow saw strong competition between the competing stables from Bahrain and GCC countries.
The show is jointly organised by Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) and Bahrain Horse Society (BHS) and is held at the Military Sports Federation in Rashid Equestrian Club in Al Raffa, Sakhir.
The second day of the competition included five categories according to age groups. The first contest was for mares aged three years and above. The second and third contests were for mares born between 01/10/2014 and 30/06/2015 divided on two groups (A B). The fourth contest included mares born between 01/10/2013 and 30/09/2014 and the final contest was for mares born between 01/10/2012 and 30/09/2013.
The first contest was dominated by the mare De Casba of Al Nibras Stables, scoring 90.63 points. The first positions of the second and third contests went to the mares Zayim Al Jabriya of Al Jabriya Stables and Zaki Al Rashidiya of Al Rashidiya Stables, finishing with 89.75 and 90.5 points, respectively. As for the fourth and final contests, the first places went to the mares Aali Sultan of Aali Arabians Stables and SS Zilzal of Al Ameer Stables, with the scores of 90.88 and 90.75 respectively.
