Kuwait-Dec15 (BNA) Bahrain today booked a spot in the semi-finals of the West Asian Football Federation Championship after beating Saudi Arabia 1-0.

The tournament, which started on December 8 in Kuwait at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium in Kuwait will run until December 20.
Jesse Johnson scored the only goal in the second half (77mn), ensuring Bahrain’s qualification to the semi-finals.
Bahrain thus topped the second group totaling 7 points, while Iran ranked second with 5 points.
