Bahrain : COMPONENTS for Saudi power plant to be rendered by Yokogawa …

An order to supply control systems and training simulators is received by Yokogawa Middle East B.S.C., Bahrain-based for a power plant currently under construction in Saudi Arabia, parent company Yokogawa Electric Corp. said Jan. 31.

The gas turbines will be controlled by the equipment from this order and 1.2 gigawatt Shoaiba II power plant will be generated by this heat recovery steam generators, the company said, adding that the simulators will help train plant operators.

“Encouraged by its success in being awarded this contract, Yokogawa aims to expand its controls business in the Kingdom by further targeting the power plant sector and other energy-related markets,” Yokogawa Electric said in a statement.

June ia anticipated to be initaiting month for combined cycle plant.
