Manama, Aug 25 (BNA): Bahrain Foreign Affairs Ministry has condemned the barbaric act committed by “Daash” militants represented in the destruction of the renowned ancient Roman temple of Baal Shamin in Palmyra, Syria, stressing that this terrorist act is totally contrary to all human values, religious principles and is alien to the Islam.

The Foreign Ministry emphasizes that this heinous crime targets the Syrian heritage and the humanitarian heritage in general, calling on the international community to take an immediate action and adopt necessary mechanisms to end such atrocious crimes committed by “Daash” against humanity and to eliminate it.
