Bahrain condemns terrorist attack in Arish

Manama, Nov.24 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the evil terrorist attack that targeted a hotel housing judges who oversee the parliamentary elections in North Sinai’s Arish town in Egypt, resulting in deaths and injuries of innocent people.

“The ministry expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the martyrs and wishes a speedy recovery for those injured in this cowardly criminal act which has nothing to do with Islam and aims to destabilize the country,” the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry vowed full support for the concrete measures taken by Egypt to consolidate security and stability on all its territory and for its tireless and serious efforts to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian people for development and prosperity, the statement said. It also reiterates the firm position of Bahrain in support of regional and international efforts aiming to eliminate violence and terrorism of all forms, dry up its resources and root it out.
