Bahrain condemns terrorist attack on Al Ahsa mosque

Manama, Jan. 29 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a mosque in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, killing and injuring innocent people.

“Bahrain extends its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to the wounded in this despicable crime which is alien to religion and contrary to all moral and human values,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
“While the Kingdom of Bahrain values the great efforts being exerted by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to solve the problems and crisis of the Arab and Islamic countries and its keenness to reinforce their peoples’ security and stability and achieve their prosperity, it affirms that such terrorist acts will not succeed in shaking civil peace or igniting sedition among the one Saudi people,” the statement said.
The Kingdom renews its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and underlines support for all measures it takes to bolster security and stability on its territory as it represents the pillar of regional and global security and stability, it added.
“It also reiterates its firm position in renouncing terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and regardless of the motives or justifications behind it, vowing to support the international community to root out this dangerous phenomenon that jeopardizes people’s peace worldwide,” the ministry said.
