Bahrain Cricket: Irfan and Vijay excel as Indian Club see off Super Kings

Indian Club defeated Super Kings by three wickets in the Habib Bank Premier League organised by Cricket Bahrain Association. 

Prasant Kurup top scored with 35 runs as Super Kings put up a total of 81 runs after batting first. Irfan Sheikh and Vijay Sailor claimed four wickets each for Indian Club.

Indian Club, led by Irfan Sheikh with 22 runs, reached the winning target losing seven wickets. Prasant Kurup claimed three wickets for Super Kings.

In another fixture, BCC defeated Titans by seven wickets. Batting first, Titans posted 102 runs with the help of Faizan Khan who scored 37. Mirza Ashraf Baig claimed three wickets for BCC.

In reply, BCC overtook Titans total in 14 overs losing three wickets. M Shabbir top scored with 56 runs.

Meanwhile, ABM Climax defeated Sri Lanka Club by five wickets. Sri Lanka Club were all out for 101 runs after batting first. Suren Anthony top scored with 28 runs. For ABM Climax Salman Naveed, Umair Hameed and Rizwan Shah claimed two wickets each. 

Abdul Jabbar led ABM Climax’s reply with 28 runs as they reached the winning target losing five wickets. 

BCC A defeated Lanka Lions by 56 runs in another fixture. Fahad Sadeq top scored with 56 runs as BCC A made 178. M Nilshad claimed three wickets for Lanka Lions.

Lanka Lions could only manage 122 runs in reply with Shiara contributing 25.

In the Collage Corporate League Cup, Collage CC defeated Danube Home by 11 runs. Batting first, Collage scored 153 runs with the help of Usman Anwar’s 31. In reply, Danube Home could only manage 142 runs. Humair top scored for Danube with 26 runs and Collage’s Maqsood Hassan claimed four wickets.

In another match, Mishal Asian Lions defeated Public Security Blue by four wickets. Tanvir top scored with 37 runs in Public Security Blue’s total of 117. Mishal Asian Lions claimed victory losing six wickets with Rizwan and Shoaib scoring 30 runs each.
