Moscow, June 18. (BNA) – A Bahrain parliamentary delegation led by Mp Abdulrahman Boumajeed today met Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Russian President’s Envoy to the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov and discussed regional and international developments.

Talks focused on steps undertaken to implement the recommendations set by the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI), the progress of the National Consensus Dialogue, the flagrant Iranian interference and the acts of violence and terror in Bahrain.

The Russian official hailed solid relations, stressing his country’s support for the reform project led by His Majesty the King and rejection of any foreign interference in Bahrain’s internal affairs.

He also described the dialogue as the right path, calling on all parties taking part to show flexibility, renounce violence and respect the rule of the law.
