Bahrain e-Government International Forum to conclude tomorrow

Manama, Mar18(BNA) The curtain will fall tomorrow (March19) on the eighth edition of the Bahrain e-Government International Forum, being held at Isa Cultural Centre and Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).


The event opened on March 15 under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the High IT and Telecommunications Committee Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khalifa.

The five-day event featured a string of functions, activities and specialised sessions, which were attended by the European Union for the first time. The discussion sessions addressed key issues which centered in particular on social media, customer practices, comprehensive management of operations and IT security.

The exhibition, which was held on the sidelines of the Bahrain eGovernment International Forum 2015, showcased technological activities and functions as well as innovative and cutting-edge products which have yet to hit the shelves, including electronic games and smart equipment.
