Bahrain Embassy hosts BBFS annual dinner

London, June 4 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Kingdom has hosted the annual dinner ceremony of the Bahrain-British Friendship Society (BBFS).
In in her address to the attendees, Bahraini Ambassador to the UK Alice Samaan reiterated the close historical ties between the two friendly countries.

Founded in 1971, the Bahrain-British Friendship Society has approximately 500 members.

It organises activities including symposiums, lectures, and visits to its members to Bahrain to be updated of the latest development in the country.

The society will mark the 200th anniversary of the resumption of the Bahraini – British relations next year -2016.
