Bahrain, Indonesia sign agreement

New York, Sep.28 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa signed with his Indonesian counterpart Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on political consultation on the sidelines of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City.
The MOU aims to strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries, to exchange views on regional and global topics, to promote cooperation between the two countries at the United Nations, the international and regional organizations.

Shaikh Khalid expressed his satisfaction of the advanced levels of bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the republic of Indonesia, noting that this MOU will bolster those relations to new horizons in all areas, cementing the mutual cooperation and achieving positive results for the beset interest for both parties.
