Manama-March2 (BNA)Bahrain Athletics team has today clinched the 20th Arab Cross Country Championship after winning the gold medal in the 12-kilometre race.

Bahrain Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander on this sport achievement.
He also congratulated Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa and SCYS first deputy chairman and Bahrain Athletics Association Chief Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
