Bahrain News Agency | HM King Hamad performs Eid Al-Fitr prayers

Manama, July 17 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today performed Eid Al-Fitr prayers at Al-Sakhir Palace Mosque.


His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, HM the King’s sons, senior members of the Royal Family, Speaker of the Representatives Council, Shura Council Chairman, ministers, the Kuwaiti Ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Bahrain, and senior BDF, Interior Ministry and National Guard officers also took part in the prayers.

The Imam delivered a sermon in which he stressed the noble significance of Eid Al-Fitr. He prayed to Allah Almighty to protect HM King Hamad, guide him on the right path of success and bless him with abundant health and happiness and Bahrain and its loyal people with security, safety, progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.

Following the prayers and the sermon, HM King Hamad exchanged greetings and good wishes with worshippers, wishing the kingdom and its people many happy returns.

The worshippers extended heartfelt congratulations and good wishes to HM the King on this occasion, praying to Allah Almighty to protect him and guide him on the path of success for the sake of the progress and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab and Islamic nations.

They also took pride in HM King Hamad’s wise leadership and sound policies to bolster Bahrain’s pivotal regional, Arab and international role.

They hailed Bahrain’s landmark achievements in the prosperous era, lauding the Kingdom’s steady development and progress on all levels for the sake of its loyal people.
