Manama, July 19 (BNA): Supreme Council (SCYS) First Deputy Chairman and the Bahrain Athletics Association President Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the Bahraini team’s winning of two medals – one gold, one silver, at the IAAF World Youth Championships, Cali 2015, which concluded recently.

Shaikh Khalid also congratulated HM the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the SCYS and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the historic achievement.

He asserted that the unprecedented world achievement was the fruitful outcome of the support of the leadership and Shaikh Nasser for the youth and sport movement, in general, and athletics, in particular.
