Manama, July 16 (BNA): HM King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS)’s Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the outgoing Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Iain Lindsay.
His Highness praised the ambassador’s fruitful efforts and contribution in boosting the close bilateral ties, praising the constantly growing and developing relations in all fields.
His Highness cited HM the King’s keenness on consolidating the historic friendship and cooperation relations and boosting these relations to highest levels which serve the shared interest of both kingdoms and their peoples.
His Highness said the conferring of Bahrain’s first-class order of merit medallion on Ambassador Iain Lindsay came as a confirmation of his excellent efforts and contributions in boosting the bilateral cooperation relations to highest levels in all fields, especially in the youth and sports arena which culminated in Bahrain’s participation in the Royal Windsor Equestrian, wishing Ambassador Lindsey all success.
The British Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its leadership for their constructive, fruitful cooperation with him throughout his term in Bahrain which contributed to the successfulness of his diplomatic mission.
The ambassador praised the role of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in consolidating the bilateral relations in all fields, especially in youth and sports arenas evidenced by the exchange of youth and sports delegations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further development and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
