Bahrain, Oman sign civil service MoU

Bahraini Civil Service Bureau President Ahmed bin Zayed Al-Zayed signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Omani Civil Service Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon

MANAMA —  Bahraini Civil Service Bureau (CSB) President Ahmed bin Zayed Al-Zayed has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Omani Civil Service Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon in the areas of civil service, administrative development and human resources in the public sector.

The MoU aims at enhancing cooperation between Bahrain’s CSB and the Omani Ministry of Civil Service and in the areas of training, development, consultancies, investment in human resources, exchange of laws and legislation, research, projects, successful experiences, statistics and publications related to civil service, as well as other civil service affairs such as informatics systems, pay rolls, and employees’ performance, Al-Zayed said.

He added that the agreement would benefit the civil service sectors in the two countries and affirmed the depth of the steadily progressing Bahraini-Omani relations and stressed the importance of investing in human resources as the real assets of nations, noting that the MoU will consolidate cooperation and expertise exchange in the fields of civil services and human resources. — BNA
