Manama, Oct. 12 (BNA): Speaking at the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC)-affiliated Quality Assurance League (QAL)’s meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, the CEO of the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance in Education and Training (QAAET), Dr. Jawaher Al-Modhahki, also Chairperson of the Quality Assurance League (QAL) in the Muslim world, has affirmed the role of the league in spreading and boosting quality concepts and enhancement of standards of performance in higher educational institutions in Islamic countries to achieve their developmental goals.
The forum’s sessions discussed 13 working papers presented by regional and international experts in the domain of systems quality enforcement and its concepts, officials in charge of Arab, regional and international networks, organisations concerned with quality assurance.
The forum also discussed main themes of globalization in quality assurance for higher education, consolidation of quality assurance in higher education, development of internal quality assurance systems in higher educational institutions, the frames of national qualifications as well as challenges facing; quality assurance in education in Islamic countries.
