Manama, May. 15. The Bahrain Toastmasters will represent the Kingdom in the District 20 Toastmasters Annual Conference held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, from today until Saturday. The team’s participation is sponsored by the Economic Development Board (EDB) and supported by Parliament member Dr Jamal Saleh.

H.E. Kamal bin Ahmed, Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief Executive of the EDB, stressed the huge role occupational institutes and clubs play in developing Bahraini skills which the Kingdom is already distinguished for.

He added that Bahrain is proud to have national human resources boasting high levels of professionalism, as well as various skills and experiences that contribute to attracting foreign investments to Bahrain.

Commenting on the team’s participation, Dr Saleh expressed his pride in the team members who will represent Bahrain in the international event, resulting in developing their skills and experience.

Meanwhile, Golden Toastmasters District 20 Head of Educational Affairs Mr. Ali Al Raies revealed the participants gratitude for the continuous support they have received and their keenness to represent Bahrain in the event.

Members of the Bahrain Toastmasters have won 9 awards out of 12 awards in last year’s District 20 Toastmasters Annual Conference which was held in Dubai.
