Bahrain participates in International Invention Fair in Kuwait

Manama, Nov. 22 (BNA): The delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs participated with a number of outstanding achievements in the 8th International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME), which concluded recently in Kuwait, with the participation of more than 2000 inventors and 30 countries.

Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder lauded the youth achievements in IIFME, saying that it is the result of the constant support of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, which has a positive impact on the youth achievements in the scientific field.

He pointed out that the Bahraini youth achievement of advanced ranks in IIFME affirms their high potential and capability of creativity in various fields.

The minister said that the youth had the opportunity to show the world their creativity in the field of scientific inventions and the support they receive from officials in order to serve the future of the Kingdom.

He highlighted the importance of participation in such exhibitions so as to provide the opportunity for the youth to meet their counterparts from other countries.
