Organizers of Bahrain Pavilion at the international Exhibitions announced their participation in the biggest international constructions and building materials exhibition in the Middle East.

“The Big5” That is going to be held from November 25th to 28th in Dubai World Trade Centre receives 2500 visitors every year, where the most of them are architects, consultants, interior designers, civil engineers, contractors, purchasing managers, investors and various professionals related to the industry.

WorkSmart for events management who are going to organize Bahrain pavilion for the first time at “The Big5” said that more than twenty companies will be part of the pavilion and they will be able to examine 30,000 products licensed and ready to use in the countries of the GCC.

The pavilion will also provide mutual marketing activities, and will work on arranging business matching sessions with other participants in the exhibition.

More than one stop market for construction and building materials, “the big5” is an annual gathering for the international companies of the industry where they take part of more than 120 shows and seminars during the event four days.

During the announcement, WorkSmart business development manager Mr. Qais Zuhair said that their participation in the exhibition is based on a study of the local market.

“A research published earlier this year showed that the construction industry is responsible with 6.17% of the national income” said Mr. Qais “this rate can easily be increased with some effort in developing the industry”

“Participation in “The Big5″ will introduce the local market to new international suppliers who might provide different products in term of value and quality that we usually have in Bahrain, on the contrast those who are interested in foreign investments will be able to look for opportunities and exchange experiences with different investors” he added

Mr. Zuhair also invited companies to be part of the pavilion especially that eligible Bahraini companies will benefit from Tamkeen support.

It is worth to note that “The big5” exhibition is conducted in a region that is witnessing a steady increase in the construing projects, as the value of current projects at the planning and executing phase reaches USD 2.87 billion.
