Sai Raghav B. claimed victory over Jaber Abdul A’al in under-12 boys’ section of the fourth E.K. Kanoo Junior Open Tennis Championship 2016 at Bahrain Tennis Club in Juffair yesterday. 

In a tough encounter, Sai Raghav.B held off Abdul 6-7(3), 7-6(3) 10-4. 

The second game of the section saw Mohammed Al Shehabi  easily beat Fares Hajjar 6-0, 6-0. 

Meanwhile, Belt Ken managed to defeat Alkhan Mohammed 7-5, 6-2 while the last game of the section saw Sparsh Parmar defeat Kazuma Miyawaki 6-1, 6-2. 

Faisal Yousif  reached the U-14 boys singles final after defeating Devansh Sharma 6-0, 6-3 in a semi-final clash. In the other semi-final, Yuya Wakamatsu defeated Shivansh Sharma 6-4, 7-6(3). 

The the U-14 boys doubles, Tuki Takano  and Hiroki Wakamatsu  defeated Mittal Vineesh and Pagadal Kishan 6-4, 7-5 while in another match Yuya Wakamatsu and Kazuma Miyawaki  managed to overcome Devansh Sharma  and Shivansh Sharma 6-3, 7-5. 

The last match saw Ken Belt and Erwin Godinho crash to a 6-0, 1-6, 10-7 defeat against Anshuman Sonawane and Sparsh Parmar.
