Bahrain sport: Farhan lifts swimming crown

Bahrain national team swimmer Farhan Saleh (3,402 points) finished first in the men’s 15-30 years category of the Fifth National Day International Swimming Championship organised by Bahrain Swimming Association at the Khalifa Sports City Swimming Pool.

A total of 308 participants representing 14 teams took part in the two-day event.

Nooh Al Khulaifa (3,338 points) from Qatar Swimming Association was second and Omar Al Malki (3,163 points) from Bahrain Swimming Association third.

Under-8 girls: 1 Tiffany Murillo (Dhahran Youth Swim League, 1,412 points), 2 Orla Meehan (Ras Tanura Swim Club, 919), 3 Nabila Ismail (Khobar Laser Swim, 828).

Under-8 boys: 1 Abdulla Al Assomi (Bahrain Swimming team, 457), 2 Daniel Del Carmen (Dhahran Youth Swim League, 364), 3 Ahmed Suhail (Bahrain Swimming teamm 347).

9-10 girls: 1 Alzain Tariq (Bahrain Swimming team, 1,705), 1 Mahika Chatterjee (Bahrain Elite Swimming, 1,705), 3 Asma Le Falher (Bahrain Elite Swimming, 1,568).

9-10 boys: 1 Ahmed Abdulnabi (Bahrain Swimming team, 1,186), 2  Khalid Omar (Bahrain Swimming team, 931), 3 Salman Habib (Bahrain Swimming team, 897).

11-12 girls: 1 Anastasia Toha (Ras Tanura Swim Club, 2,045), 2 Farah Van Der Kooi (St Chris Sharks Bahrain, 1,970), 3 Fabiola Mattias (St Chris Sharks Bahrain, 1,792).

11-12 boys: 1 Rifqi Sambodo (Dhahran Youth Swim League, 2,036), 2 Abdulla Khalid (Bahrain Swimming team, 1,735), 3 Ali Al Alawi (Bahrain Swimming Team, 1,591).

13-14 girls: 1 Laura Solano-Florez (Dhahran Youth Swim League, 2,782) 2, Roma Vrijhof (St Chris Sharks Bahrain, 2,542), 3 Estelle Saive (H2O Swim Club, 1,579).

13-14 boys: 1 Kyle Bouwer (Khobar Laser Swim, 2,510), 2 Abdulaziz Daraj (Bahrain Swimming Team, 2,076), 3 Abdulrahman Mubarak (Bahrain Swimming Team, 1,970).

15-30 girls: 1 Cheyma Le Falher (Bahrain Elite Swimming Team, 3,097), 2  Candice Blanche (Torpedoes), 2,052, 3 Fatima Al Mahmeed (Bahrain Swimming Team, 1,652).

31-40 men: 1 Tariq Juma (Bahrain Elite Swimming, 1,279), 2 Mubarak Mohammed (Bahrain Elite Swimming, 695), 3 Mikel Calahorra (Bahrain Endurance Team, 243).

41-50 men: 1 Abdulrahman Jassim (Bahrain Elite Swimming Team, 1,903), 2 Aleh Rukhlevich (Bahrain Swimming Team, 910), 3 Alex Nouhra (Khobar Laser Swim Team, 543).
