Manama: The annual competition of ladies tennis players in the kingdom under the leadership of Bahrain Tennis Federation is due to commence tomorrow.

The BTF Fourth Ladies Tennis Open Championship, which runs until November 27, will be held at the BTF Tennis Courts, Polytechnic University in Isa Town. More than 60 players of different nationalities will compete for the title.

This year’s tournament is being supported by one of the county’s strongest sports brand watches – ICE WATCH by AL Hawaj – as the major sponsor. Twelve ICE WATCH watches for the winners and runners-up will motivate the participats to make it to the finals.

The highlight of tomorrow’s grand opening ceremony, starting at 3pm, will be an exhibition match by four of the top ladies tennis players in the kingdom who had played in the Bahrain ITF tournament held last month.
