Bahrain tensions a trigger for Gulf turmoil

The tiny island kingdom of Bahrain has seen two years of protests against the ruling monarchy.

The contest for power between the Shia Muslim majority and Sunni Muslim minority, is causing violence and unrest across the region.

Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has made a renewed appeal for dialogue to end the political impasse.
