Our Correspondent / 21 August 2014

Bahrain has announced to hike visa fees for visitors from October to enhance services.

The Nationality, Passports and Resident Affairs (NPRA) of the Interior Ministry  has said there will be an increase in some visa fees,  covering Bahrain visitors, tourists and businessmen.

The increase comes within the NPRA’s efforts to improve the services and facilitate the issuance of visas.

Fees of all types of visit visas and their extensions would be increased, including visas on arrival and their extensions for two weeks, British and Irish visitor’s visas, one-week GCC resident’s visas and 72-hour visas.

The fee increase would not cover labourers and domestic workers, according to NPRA.
