Bahrain to hold the Gulf Strategic Conference

Manama-Oct-18(BNA)The Gulf Strategic Conference will open on October 29 at the Sofitel Hotel.

The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) will organize the two-day event.

Leading international figures, prominent analysts, researchers and experts specialized in international, Middle Eastern and Arabian Gulf studies will take part, along with renowned think tanks.

The conference will scrutinize current regional developments in deep insight and assess their potential repercussions on the Arabian Gulf region and relations bonding GCC states and key regional players.

The conference will seek to elaborate realistic and practical policies to maintain security and stability in the Arabia Gulf Region.

It will also discuss key issues, global strategic transformations and their impact on the current stratum of the international order.

The impact of the 2011 Arab upheavals on the regional order in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the security of the Arabian Gulf in a shifting regional environment will also come under the spotlight.
