Bahrain to host 4th Annual Leadership Forum

Manama, May 30 (BNA): Bahrain will host the fourth Annual Leadership Forum on June 14, under the patronage of Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza.

Themed “Becoming a Transformational Leader”, the forum is organised by Origin Consulting Group, and will be held at a hotel in Amwaj Islands.

International leadership and communication specialist and US trade show organising expert company Velvet Chainsaw Vice-President Sarah Michelle will share her experiences with the delegates at the event.

She will speak on networking, effective communication and leadership and discuss her experiences on the integration of knowledge, ideas, personal relationships and the strength of building effective partnerships.

Michelle, who has worked in many professional management companies, is a global spokeswoman recognised by the International Speakers Organisation. She has also written a book, Masterly Communication, a guide on the most important and the latest means of communication and effective elements of leadership and the ability to influence.

Sessions will focus on the added value of transformational leadership through leadership strategies, empowering and highlighting the role of women in the workplace and constraints of communication with colleagues, customers and other members of the team, foundations of the transformational strength of character and the ability to inspire and influence, and how transformational leadership can be applied through self-confidence.

A panel discussion by experts will focus on the best practices in the field of transformational leadership locally and globally in the public and private sectors.

Simultaneous translation in Arabic will be provided during the event.
