More than 400 participants including doctors and pharmacists from Bahrain and the other GCC countries will attend the First Gulf Pharma-Medical Conference in the kingdom next month, a report said.
The conference will be organised by the Bahrain Pharmacists Society in collaboration with the Salmaniya Medical Complex Internal Medicine Department and will be supported by the Saudi Pharmaceutical Society, said a Bahrain News Agency report.
The event is being held under the patronage of chairman of the Supreme Health Council Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and will take place on September 2 and 3, at the Rotana Hotel on Amwaj Islands.
It aims to hone the skills of specialised medical cadres and boost their role in optimising health care in the kingdom, it said.
