Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received here today the Egyptian Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram Abdel Shahid, currently on a visit to Bahrain.
Humaidan informed the minister about the Kingdom of Bahrain’s experience at reforming the labour market, implementing programmes to integrate the youth in the private sector’s establishments and developing vocational training and rehabilitation in order to enhance professional skills.
They explored bilateral relations and ways to consolidate them, especially in the labour field through exchanging technical expertise and coordinating stances at international and Arab labour gatherings.
Humaidan highlighted the contribution of the Egyptian community to Bahrain’s development march in all fields and production areas, commending Egyptian labours’ efficiency and discipline.
He affirmed Bahrain’s keen interest in strengthening relations with Egypt, given its weight at supporting the Arab countries on political, economic and developmental levels.
Abdel Shahid hailed the deep-rooted tie bonding both the countries and expressed her pride in Bahrain’s experience at reforming the labour market, lauding the support of the Egyptian community, in light of the advanced labour laws in Bahrain under this prosperous era.
