Bahraini firms out in force at Gulfood

Nine Bahraini companies have announced their participation at the world’s largest exhibition for food and hospitality “Gulfood 2015” which opens in Dubai tomorrow (February 8).
Business Development Manager in “Work Smart” the company responsible for organising the Bahraini pavilion at the exhibition, Qais Rabeah, confirmed that the Bahraini participation aimed at strengthening national investment in this booming sector.
The participating companies are Trafco Group, Bahrain Water Bottling Factory, Awal Dairy Factory, Sitra Meat Factory, Salwa Meat Factory, Deekoo Bahrain Aluminium, Mohammed Ali Asghar Commercial Group, Mac factories for sweets and chewing gums, the Spud and Jacket potato companies.
Rabeah said these companies will be taking part in the top regional event along with nearly 2,500 companies involved in the industry and commercial activities in the field of manufacturing and trading of food and hospitality from various countries of the world.
“It is a good chance for all to meet in this international event to share the latest ideas and market trends in the industry and learn about the latest technologies and innovations through many presentations, conferences, workshops and technical excellence that permeates the event,” he added.
“Gulfood in its 20th edition has become the largest annual event for food trade and hospitality in the world, and the largest trade fair in the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia especially with the growing demands from the industry, supply and processing of global food companies,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
