Manama, Nov 11 (BNA) – Bahraini-GCC Friendship Committee of the Shura Council today held a meeting chaired by Committee Chairman, Ibrahim Mohammed Bashmi.
The meeting discussed activating the Parliamentary friendship committee to consolidate Gulf Parliamentary cooperation, holding Gulf joint meetings, in addition to preparing the Committee’s programs and activities. And urged to familiarize with and benefit from the Gulf Parliamentary Councils’ experiences, organizational structures and internal systems.

The Committee stressed the need to familiarize with the developments of HM the King’s reforms, the political action mechanism in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the constitutional institutions and their future developments, in addition to setting a timetable for conducting visits to the GCC Parliaments and the topics to be discussed with other parties and organizing scheduled reciprocal visits with the Gulf friendship committees.

It is worth noting that the Bahraini-GCC Friendship Committee includes Shura members Ibrahim Mohammed Bashmi, Nawar Ali Al-Mahmood, Juma’a Mohammed Al-Ka’abi, Hamad Mubarak Al-Nuaimi, Abdulrahman Ibrahim Abdulsalam, Ali Abdulredha Al-Asfoor, Lulwa Salah Al-Awadhi, Mohammed Hassan Baqer Radhi and Muneera Isa bin Hindi.
